Scott and I (that is Karen, John stayed home this time) enjoyed a 6-mile hike to Dawn Mine in the hills north of Pasadena. This was a
loop trail so no boring return journey.
1200 feet elevation gain on the way to the mine and boulder hopping down the river bed to get back. The boulder hopping was downhill so that made it a little easier.
